NASA equipment traveling deep in the universe will need the protection of the military from the potential unknown hostile life forms. As the saying goes, “always be prepared for the unexpected because the unexpected will always will be prepared for you.” Odds are in our favor that there is life in deep space. We need to be prepared for the unexpected. The military has to secure the way for scientist to explore the unknown. The military has got to scout ahead first and then let the scientist do the finding.
As outlined on the main NASA page, the Mother Ship will have a military headquarters, the Explorer Ships, and the shuttles that will carry the squads. This is necessary as back up for the forward scouts. Each section will have the necessary defense and weapons. The Mother Ship, and Explorer and Shuttle Ships will be equipped with both Effect Force Cells for shields and Focus Effect Force for weapons. This is back up efforts since the military scouts ahead.
Effect Force Cells can be used for both propellant and shields. When the cells are engaged for Point of Density they do not take effect until a force or a object reaches the Effect Force. This will create the Point of Density thus stopping the force or object.
What works well is that while the Effect Force is engaged, ships are able to use the Focus Effect Force like a cannon, firing through the shields without shutting down the shields. As explained in another section, the Focus Effect Force can be adjusted for a range size of one to several inches in diameter.
